Meet The Team

Founder and President
Jaden Randhawa
Hello! My name is Jaden Randhawa, and I'm currently 17 years old. I founded FoNA at 15. Natural disasters have sparked curiosity in me for a long time. I've always wanted to learn more about them and to explore them in depth. I believe that this organization is a great way for me to continue this interest while helping my community in the process. I enjoy playing baseball, learning about politics, cooking, and road trips in my free time.

I joined the club because I have always valued our environment and the nature around us. I believe that by being a part of this club, I will be able to actively help our community and gain environmental education through hands-on events that will benefit everyone. Furthermore, with climate change becoming more and more of a problem every day, I felt the need to try and contribute to bettering our environment for the sake of everyone. I believe that FoNA will be successful in improving our community through dedicated contribution to our environment.

I joined FONA because I have always been deeply passionate about environmental action and advocacy. I think in today’s political climate, climate science is dismissed, so advocating for policy change, as well as education about the environment are deeply important. I’ve always been interested in public policy, and I know that studying politics and political science involves major aspects of environmental science and how it is viewed. I think what allows people like me to be able to advocate and do this kind of work stems from a place of privilege, so the least we can do is raise awareness and support those in need, and FONA is my way of contributing to the community/communities around me. In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, and going on walks.

.I wanted to Join FONA to express my passion in humanitarian aid and helping others. FONA has allowed me to increase my involvement directly with my community and in helping those in need after big disasters. I think that the club has provided me a valuable experience in hands-on work in helping others in need. More people should join and be involved because every member makes an impact and change on the community.

I joined this organization as I am extremely disappointed with the environmental injustices that continue on in our world despite the lives of those they ruin. I hope to make an impact against these injustices.

I joined FoNA because I believe in the power of collective action to address environmental injustices. From natural disasters to the everyday impacts of pollution, too many communities are suffering without the resources or attention they deserve. FoNA offers me an opportunity to be with others who share a similar mindset in environmental injustice.
